Many of our patients arrive because they were told their only options were thousands of dollars a day or euthanasia. Often, that simply isn’t true.

The medicine
You will see:

wounds, trauma, blocked cats, parvo, acute GI, pain cases

a high surgical caseload that rewards efficiency and clarity

real urgent care, not diluted ER-lite
You will be expected to:

make clear decisions under pressure

operate confidently and efficiently

document accurately and invoice cleanly

delegate to technicians who are highly capable and trusted to lead
This is not defensive medicine.
This is responsible medicine under real-world constraints.

We don’t practise defensive or performative medicine. We expect you to be able to say no when it’s the right clinical decision.
The practicalities
Location: Houston, TX (East End)
Schedule: Typically 3 × 12-hour shifts
Salary: $160,000 – $200,000, depending on experience
